After completeing that I built the sidings, loop around & over by the lake and connected it all with 6inch radius curves. Had to modify the loco to handle the tight radius but it works okay.   click on image for an expanded view   click on image for an expanded view I next built the mountain out of blue insulation board shaped and hollowed out to use as storage for the trains & powerpack. Hinged it and latched it with a magnet to hold it closed when traveling. Just goes to show that you don't need a lot of money OR space to build and run a model train.
