Name of Layout Mountain Pacific Railroad

N Gauge Tri Level Layout. The Mountain Pacific Railroad will be modeled to be a short line which will connect to the Great Northern Railroad in the Rocky Mountains. It is planned to eventually run the railroad remotely using the cameras installed in the Rotary Snow Plows to make our way through the spectacular scenery.
The Upper Level will be an Early Spring Scene with lots of snow on the ground. All trains running up here will be preceded by the Rotary Snowplows which will have cameras installed through the plow facing forward and, possibly, in the plows tenders looking backwards at the trains following.
We used backdrops from BackDrop Warehouse       Member - BackDrop Warehouse Customers

The backdrop may look washed out but this is due to lighting used for photography. Visually it is much darker. (note from BDWH)

The Mid Level of the layout will feature a small resort town which will connect via rail through the A.D. Johnson Helix to the Upper Level terminus of a Ski Resort. The Helix is named after my Son and John Johnson who helped make this complex part of the layout much easier to construct and install.

Nothing yet can be seen of the planned Lower Level. The Mid Level Backdrop shows a lake scene. In front of the existing benchwork there will be a dam face going down to the floor level where there will be electrical powerhouses under construction. A set of switchbacks on the left side will come fron the bottom of the A.D Johnson Helix down to the powerhouse at floor level.
