Overall, this HO layout covers an area of approx.22'x16'. It does so in the form of an "E"... 3 tables which jut out lengthwise into the room, from the upright portion of the "E".. the "E"under construction
Construction of the layout is obviously still underway. The elevated grade portion of track is at a maximum height of 7" from table top.The grade is set at just under 3%. All materials used for roadbed as well as support structure for elevated tracks were aquired at no cost. This certainly helped progress.
