Name of Layout Blue Ridge & Coastal

Freelanced layout with C&O power. NCE PowerPro DCC system. Phase 1 is 6-1/2' x 21' section in the lounge area of the basement. It is about 90% scenery completed. It depicts the eastern terminus of the City of Bridgewater, a fictious city with a large seaport and terminal yard. Walls have Backdrop Warehouse photomurals (BG-CM105-A&B). Phase 2 is under construction in another room that is accessed via a tunnel through the wall from the lounge area (Phase 1) into a 16' x 20' room (Phase 2). This area will consist of a full steam/diesel servicing facility and a large classification yard. It will also have several industries including an oil refinery. Benchwork is complete and mainline is in. Also there will be a 2-1/2' x 8' peninsula in the center of the room with a quaint fishing village serviced by rail. The surrounding walls have Blue Ridge & Appalachian Mts. photomurals from Backdrop Warehouse installed. A seperate 9' x 15' staging area is located in a third room. This has 9 storage/staging tracks. Also the mainline and branchline runs through the staging area for additional run time. All staging is contolled by Tortoise machines that select all routes without having to enter the staging area, but staging is fully accessible if need be and has position for a mole.
We used backdrops from BackDrop Warehouse       Member - BackDrop Warehouse Customers

The backdrop may look washed out but this is due to lighting used for photography. Visually it is much darker. (note from BDWH)
